Last week we looked at Apparel advertising in Paid Search in the United Kingdom, analyzing Desktop Text Ad activity on the top 2,288 Apparel-related keywords on Google.co.uk from January through July 2015. To provide a comparison with the U.S. market, we also examined the same number of top Apparel keywords for the U.S., 2,288, during the same time period on U.S. Google.
AdGooroo’s latest research report examines Paid Search advertising by the Apparel industry in the United Kingdom. Specifically, we looked at Desktop Text Ad activity on the top 2,288 Apparel keywords on Google.co.uk, ranked by total ad spend.
New research from AdGooroo examines Paid Search spending in the United Kingdom during the first half of this year.
From January to June 2014, advertisers spent a total of £783 million on Desktop/Tablet Paid Search advertising, not counting Mobile Search or Product Listing Ads. The vast majority of the Paid Search advertising expenditure—£742 million—went to U.K. Google AdWords, with an additional £41 million going to the U.K. Yahoo! Bing Network.
