AdGooroo Budget Analyzer Terms and Conditions
Budget Analyzer is an advanced feature of SEM Insight that allows you to model competitors’ ad spend, clicks, clickthrough rates, and average cost-per-click. This feature will be included as part of your AdGooroo SEM Insight subscription upon your acceptance of these terms and conditions.
For Best Results, You Must Calibrate Budget Analyzer
Budget Analyzer is a modeling tool. It assumes “average” quality scores and as a result, the “out-of-the-box” model tends to overestimate cost-per-click (CPC) and impressions. For more accurate estimates, you can override our assumptions based on your actual campaign performance.
Sources of Error
When using Budget Analyzer, keep in mind that our estimates can vary considerably from actual key performance indicators due to one or more of the following factors:
- Match Types – Some advertisers make use of matching options (negative, phrase, and exact matching) to reduce unwanted impressions. Budget Analyzer is unable to determine the use of match types and assumes “broad” matching. While this match type provides the most accurate estimates across a wide variety of advertisers, it may overestimate the spend of sophisticated competitors.
- Quality Scores – Budget Analyzer does incorporate some aspects of quality score (such as ad copy). However, other factors such as historical clickthrough rate and landing page quality are not taken into consideration. Competitors with higher quality scores than average will likely show higher cost-per-click (CPC) estimates within the Budget Analyzer reports.
- Outside Data Sources – Budget Analyzer relies heavily on data provided by the search engines, including monthly traffic estimates and average cost-per-click (CPC) price. If inaccurate data is provided by the search engines, this can negatively impact the accuracy of the reports.
- Random Daily Fluctuations – Traffic and user behavior can vary widely on a day-to-day basis. For best results, calculate budget estimates over a 30-day period.
Due to the statistical nature of the forecasting algorithms, you must have at least 25 unique keywords assigned to your keyword group in order to activate Budget Analyzer. If your group falls below 25 unique keywords, Budget Analyzer will be deactivated and you will not be able to access budget estimates for the time period when the minimum keyword count was not reached.
Finally, please be aware that Budget Analyzer is only available for Google at this time.
