Report: PPC Keyword Research
The Keyword Research report provides insight into other keywords (not within the selected keyword group) for which we found your competitors serving first page sponsored results. This list provides a snapshot of other keywords that they were showing first page sponsored results.
- After clicking on Keyword Research from the left side navigation bar, every keyword from all advertisers displaying first page sponsored results on at least one keyword in the keyword group are displayed. The date range, search engine and region of the report can be changed using the toolbar in the upper right of the screen.
- All advertisers' keywords are displayed as well as the keyword's search volume (if it can be retrieved from the search engine). It is also possible to only display keywords for some advertisers. To do so, click the Search for keywords by exact URL link at the top of the screen.
- A list of all advertisers that have displayed first page sponsored results for one or more keywords in the keyword group are displayed. Click the checkbox next to any advertisers that you would like to see keywords for and click the View Keywords button at the top of the screen.
Please note that you can also use the column header and filter button to look for specific keywords or advertisers.
The Keyword Research report is also valuable for growing your own negative match list. Many of our clients are surprised as to what the search engines are broad/phrase matching them to. Don't forget to generate a Keyword Research report for yourself to add negative match terms to your campaigns.
