AdGooroo Budget Analyzer
Monitor your competitors' paid search impressions, clicks, clickthrough rates, and total spend in near real-time! Budget Analyzer provides out-of-the-box estimates for every competitor. For pinpoint accuracy, you can even calibrate it using your AdWords account.
What is Budget Analyzer?
Budget Analyzer is a new forecasting tool which generates estimates of competitors' total ad spend, clicks, clickthrough rates, and more. This feature is available to all AdGooroo customers as part of the SEM Insight™ suite of reports.
It works by combining data from a number of sources into sophisticated models which predict traffic, searcher click behavior, quality scores, and average cost-per-click for every ad seen in your targeted keywords. This data is then overlaid directly on top of your regular SEM Insight reports.
There's no need to settle for the wildly inaccurate estimates provided by other tools (or the search engine APIs.) AdGooroo automatically incorporates all of the following into its models:
- Daily fluctuations in search volume
- Distribution partner vs. Search-only traffic
- Effects of ad copy on clickthrough rate
- Quality scores
- Overall competitiveness of keywords
- Typical price
- Bidding “hot spots” – positions where the average cost-per-click jumps erratically over those below it
If you've ever attempted to forecast a pay-per-click campaign using data taken from the search engine APIs, you may noticed that the data can often be less than reliable. Compounding this are the effects of negative matching and quality scores, which are nearly impossible to incorporate into a manual estimate.
To address this, Budget Analyzer calibrates itself using your Google AdWords campaign data to improve the accuracy of its predictions. If you are unable or choose not to integrate your actual campaign data into the tool, you can manually override our estimates for monthly search volume, clickthrough rate, or average cost-per-click at the keyword level. Your adjustments will then immediately be reflected across all AdGooroo reports (both paid and natural.)
Search volume, CTR, and Average CPC can be overridden directly within the interface.
You no longer have to be in the dark about the amounts your competitors are spending or how much traffic they may be receiving from their paid search efforts. Budget Analyzer features are available to all SEM Insight customers. Keyword groups must contain at least 100 unique keywords due to the statistical nature of this feature.
