We are currently hiring for the following positions:
Engineering
Senior QA Engineer
Adgooroo develops and releases marketing intelligence software at a rapid pace, across many proprietary internal and external applications. You will support these efforts by developing processes to insure and improve software quality. The processes you build will be used in development, testing, and acceptance of new builds and releases. You will collaborate closely with both the engineering and client services teams.
Responsibilities:
- Produce appropriate test plans, unit tests, and acceptance criteria.
- Be a vocal proponent of quality in every phase of the development process, exploring features from concept to development to identify design, testing, and usability issues
- Select and apply appropriate methods and tools (continuous integration, manual exploration, test automation, performance/stress testing) to get quality product out the door in a timely fashion.
- Develop and perform manual and automated tests. Author and maintain test scripts and procedures. Analyze test results. Isolate, investigate, and report bugs. Verify fixes.
- Champion the implementation of unit testing tools such as NUnit.
- Design, collect analyze, and present quality metrics and provide cross-functional recommendations.
- Automate repetitive tasks, constantly improving quality and consequently developer productivity.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience working as a software quality assurance engineer in an agile team
- Experience developing manual and automated testing methods.
- Logical methodical and creative in identifying how things could go wrong
- Ability to think like various user personas and be an advocate for the customer
- Passionate, self directed and a leader/champion for quality across the organization
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or related field.

- Experience working at a startup, establishing QA tools, culture, best practices and processes.
- Experience working as a build or release engineer, setting up and maintaining continuous integration infrastructure.
SQL Server DBA - SQL Database Administrator
Adgooroo develops and releases marketing intelligence software at a rapid pace, across many proprietary internal and external applications. You will support these efforts by leading the design, development, deployment and maintenance of SQL Server 2008 databases as well as modifying existing databases to support their rapidly scaling size/performance needs.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and improve performance across multiple database clusters. Including tuning databases for high frequency/high throughput transaction performance.
- Maintain security and access to all SQL Server instances
- Create and maintain objects (stored procedures, functions, SSIS) to assist programmers with their access to data.
- Maintain up to date backups along with disaster recovery requirements and monitor health of all SQL Server machines.
- Design new SSIS packages and improve performance of existing packages.
- Maintain existing SSRS reports.
- Communicate project status and escalate issues to management.
Requirements
- 5 - 7 years database design and administration experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Deep familiarity and experience with all aspects of resource and query performance tuning. Including knowledge of locking, indexing, statistics, disk I/O, tempDB, etc
- Logical, methodical, and creative in identifying how things could go wrong and proactively proposing solutions.
- Passionate, self directed and a leader/champion for database security/integrity/performance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

IT Intern
Adgooroo develops and releases marketing intelligence software at a rapid pace, across many proprietary internal and external applications. You will support these efforts by assisting with hardware and software support, desktop computer management, and windows networking.
Responsibilities:
- Support for installation, set-up and problem resolution on windows based systems.
- PC hardware and software inventories, including tracking newly ordered parts and equipment.
- Provide problem resolution support on windows based systems.
- Perform desktop computing installations and upgrades of hardware and software. Assist in the deployment of software development tools.
- Provide input on the development and execution of an ongoing support strategy.
Requirements
- Knowledgeable and experienced with PC hardware and software (Windows, MS Office, Sharepoint).
- Basic troubleshooting skills and PC/Network knowledge. Technical proficiency and aptitude, analytical skills, and sound technical foundation.
- Customer service skills with a strong emphasis on client needs and genuine desire to assist.
- Ability to collaborate with technical and business personnel to manage problem resolution effectively.
- Must be patient, tolerant, and able to work as part of a team.
- Good written and verbal communication skills and can effectively communicate business and technical information across the organization, being sensitive to the needs of unique audiences.
Recommended
- Familiarity with VOIP PBX software (3CX, Asterix, IPOffice) and concepts.
- Experience ghosting desktops and restoring from backups.
