Requirements

• BS, MS (Computer Science) or excellent experience.
• 2+ years Experience with Microsoft.NET (C#), C++, or Java.
• Proficiency with common web technologies such as HTML, XHTML, Javascript, AJAX, and CSS.
• Experience with SQL Server and T-SQL, including ad hoc queries, stored procedures.
• Demonstrated skills developing scalable, robust and maintenance-free code.
• An understanding of the performance issues that come with large databases and how they affect front end application design and development.
• Test Driven Development a must.

Senior QA Engineer

Adgooroo develops and releases marketing intelligence software at a rapid pace, across many proprietary internal and external applications. You will support these efforts by developing processes to insure and improve software quality. The processes you build will be used in development, testing, and acceptance of new builds and releases. You will collaborate closely with both the engineering and client services teams.

Responsibilities:

• Produce appropriate test plans, unit tests, and acceptance criteria.
• Be a vocal proponent of quality in every phase of the development process, exploring features from concept to development to identify design, testing, and usability issues
• Select and apply appropriate methods and tools (continuous integration, manual exploration, test automation, performance/stress testing) to get quality product out the door in a timely fashion.
• Develop and perform manual and automated tests. Author and maintain test scripts and procedures. Analyze test results. Isolate, investigate, and report bugs. Verify fixes.
• Champion the implementation of unit testing tools such as NUnit.
• Design, collect analyze, and present quality metrics and provide cross-functional recommendations.
• Automate repetitive tasks, constantly improving quality and consequently developer productivity.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience working as a software quality assurance engineer in an agile team
• Experience developing manual and automated testing methods.
• Logical methodical and creative in identifying how things could go wrong
• Ability to think like various user personas and be an advocate for the customer
• Passionate, self directed and a leader/champion for quality across the organization
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or related field.

Recommended

• Experience working at a startup, establishing QA tools, culture, best practices and processes.
• Experience working as a build or release engineer, setting up and maintaining continuous integration infrastructure.
